A huge well done to the 20 boys and girls who represented St. Patrick’s on Thursday 10th October in the Invitational School’s Cross Country hosted by Celbridge Athletic Club. In a field of over 80 in each race the children’s performances were outstanding. From first time competitors to top twenty finishes each child displayed great courage and determination. We continue to admire and be proud of how supportive and encouraging they are to each other.
A huge thank you to School Wear House for sponsoring our singlets.

Cumann na mBunscol Cill Dara

The sun wasn’t the only thing to shine on Thursday 10th April in Rathcoffey GAA, 24 children from 4th, 5th, 6th representing St. Patrick’s shone in their outstanding performances over a distance of 1200m. The boys’ race had 192 participants and the girls’ race 169.  We had some children compete for the first time, a top twenty finish and many children improving on last year’s positions.

Well done to: Seán, Lúcás, Joshua, Daanish, Toby, Kris, Luke, Damian, George, Ethan, Manuel, IK, Tim, Nathan, Aidan, Tareeq, Sienna, Peace, Isabel, Olivia, Sarah, Esther, Eva and Emma. It is so encouraging to see these children come every week to training, improving their fitness and enjoying running. Ms Kelly and Ms Brady are so proud of you all. Many thanks to coach Derek Mc Connon from Celbridge Athletic Club who brings his expertise and assists in the coaching each Thursday.

Reminder: Athletics training for children from 4th, 5th, 6th resumes on Thursday 1st May (2:30-3:10) All are welcome.   A huge thank you to Ms. Kelly and Ms Brady for facilitating this not only improving fitness levels but fostering a lifelong love and enjoyment in running!

Community Games Cross Country

 Congratulations to Joshua Fitzpatrick 6th class who won gold in U14 700m

Kildare Cross Country in Suncroft GAA.  What a great achievement! Congratulations!
