GAA

St Patrick's school compete in the Cumann na mBunscol Kildare competitions in hurling and Gaelic football. Training takes place on Wednesdays 2:40- 3:40 for different teams depending on the time of year and upcoming competitions.  Newcomers are always welcome. 

 

A big thanks to Ms. Abott, Ms. McMahon, Ms. Sammon and Ms. Lanigan for their time and dedication.

Autumn 2024

We have had great numbers training in the Autumn every Wednesday. We competed in the U11 boys and U11 girls football competitions. The girls’ skills  improved with every training session and game. The boys were narrowly beaten in the semi final.

 

Spring 2024

The U10 mixed football team won the Spring league. There was great excitement on the day and great celebrations in the school afterwards.

The Senior boys team also made the final but were unfortunately beaten by a very good Broadford side. 

 

In-School Training

We are looking forward to some classes having GAA coaching in school after Christmas.
